Life of a DM

Make no mistake, because DM in this context in not in reference to the Defense Minister, but rather, the defensive midfielder in the game of football as coined by the british, 'soccer' by the yankees (monkeys or donkeys also can). I recently joined a football team here near my place, and made my debut last Saturday. I did reasonably well for a first timer, but there's still have plenty of room for improvement. Okay that's not the point, we were leading 3-1 at halftime, and then lost 4-3 at full time. U might say...'wtf!' But yes, it is true. We played against a team of guys 1-2 years younger, who wore expensive boots, dyed hair, wore ear studs to games and whose words were much more blasphemous than George Bush's famous 'Smoke 'em out'. After conducting some post-mortem with the my teammates, we came to the conclusion that we must have more training sessions. I wonder what use will it be of, if we do not have a constructive method of training. Other than that, we accused each other of things that we did, and things that we did not do. Typical of growing young men, who have lived on egotism like cotton wrought with iron, who accuse to excuse, who know less than they think they know, and more than they think they do not know. We must not be engulfed by immaturity, rather, let us grow as a team from strength to strength, and the come out to kick some...ass? or shud it be balls?
